VIVAPEDIA - Mihoyo again announced that he would release a new character in the MMORPG game Genshin Impact. Through posts uploaded on Twitter with the @GenshinImpact account, the characters are Shenhe and Yu Jin. For the background design of each character has been revealed by Mihoyo himself.

 

Shenhe's character will carry the power of the ice element (Cryo), Shenhe is a woman who is armed with a type of spear (polearn). Shenhe is from a family member who exorcises demons and is also a disciple of Liyue's adept, Cloud Retainer. Shenhe appears with a combination of white and light blue, at a glance Shenhe looks like Ganyu which is a Cryo element character that has been present before.

 

Then while Yu Jin, will be released with the element of earth (Geo) and is described as the Director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe whose base is in Liyue City. Like Shenhe who comes with a plearn weapon (spear), Yu Jin also comes with this weapon, but the difference is that Yu Jin has an earth element (Geo).

 

Mihoyo himself initially explained the character of Yu Jin through the Flavors of the World of Moonlight Merriment event which was held last September. Rumors are growing that Shenhe is a five-star character, while Yu Jin will come with a four-star character. For the certainty when the release date of these two characters has not been explained by Mihoyo.
