Education as a result of the interaction between humans which contains educative and didactic elements intended for the growing generation. this is due to technological developments that are now growing so that they can search for everything via the internet, therefore it is necessary to have proper education in order to avoid mistakes in using and utilizing the internet. one alternative for cases like this is to rebuild character education and instill it in the millennial generation from an early age.

Technological developments not only affect outwardly but also greatly affect the mind and mindset of children, this is very inhibiting and disturbing psychologically if it is not placed in accordance with the portion and level of the child. A child is a gift of God that must be guarded both outwardly and inwardly. The child is an individual figure who is undergoing a process of rapid and fundamental development for the next life, therefore conducive situations and conditions are needed when providing stimulation and educational efforts in accordance with the needs of the child (individual differences) because without realizing the phenomenon of changes due to The existence of technological sophistication will clearly affect the social system of the community.

The presence of technology also has positive and negative things, the thing that is very fearful is if the wrong technology operates so that it will greatly affect the mindset, causing riots such as murder, fighting fraud and as a negative effect of the presence of new technology. everyone will have easier access to information, including children who may not have the time to receive or see the existing shows.

National characters such as gotong royong, mad-sinamadan turned into very selfish characters. the decline of character, the loss of a life ethic that is in accordance with the character of the nation is one of the impacts of technological sophistication. One way to stem the moral crisis is by instilling educational values ​​or nourishing the future in accordance with the development of children in this millennial era. at this time is the right time to introduce and instill positive attitudes that will be useful in later life. parents, teachers and the community should provide the cultivation of good attitudes and character towards a child so that the child can achieve success and success in the future. Quality children are children who grow according to the stage of development and in accordance with general.

Children's education in the millennial era, especially in the community, will be better equipped to become a more independent person. with this it will make children easier to socialize, confident, have great curiosity, can take good ideas, develop ideas they have, can adapt, have a high enthusiasm for learning and high creativity. while children's education can be done in formal education such as schools, informal and non-formal institutions that are able to educate children.

The millennial era is marked by the ease with which people get information from various parts of the world as a result of the rapid development of technology, not only that the current rapid technology moves all forms of activities that result in a lack of direct socialization, with this it is clear that it will lead to disorganization between people. society and raises the individualistic attitude of the community to one another at the same time giving an impact (residue). the presence of character education is specifically needed to lift that impact. the existence of prevention and planned patterns in a systematic and measurable manner from the government through education. Comparing Indonesia with neighboring countries, Indonesia is still far behind, due to Indonesian education which currently prioritizes mastery of scientific aspects, intelligence and pays less attention to or ignores character education.

The ideals of a nation can certainly prosper its people and build its country with dignity. like the State of Indonesia which is stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, namely to protect the entire Indonesian nation and all the blood of Indonesia and to promote public welfare, educate independence, eternal peace and social justice. This is one of the things that can raise the name of the State of Indonesia until now.

At this time Indonesia is entering the era of globalization where one of the signs is that it is easy for people to get information from various parts of the world and humans feel that it has been facilitated by the existence of advanced technology making them feel they no longer need other people in their activities, sometimes they forget that they are social creatures. who need to interact with each other. This global change creates a revolution that gives birth to a lifestyle, the characteristics of which are fully based on the demands of individual roles to be able to add to and follow changes that put pressure on everyone and each person has their own portion of the ability to defend themselves against themselves.

The need to inculcate the concept and innovation of self-defense in an era like this in particular is the millennial generation towards human life, especially in the Indonesian nation, both positive and negative influences, this generation has distinctive characteristics and characters compared to the previous generation. from a very young age and in the next 10 years those who will play an important role. Therefore, it is hoped that from now on preparations for education, activities and teaching are in accordance with the challenges of the times in the future.
